Research and Learning Director, USAID/Guatemala Smart and Secure Cities (SSC) Activity

Support LINC recruit for an RLD for the active USAID/Guatemala SSC Activity Proposal. The purpose of the activity is to provide services to USAID, partner Guatemalan organizations, and the Government of Guatemala to strengthen Guatemala’s ability to address crime and violence through multisectoral collaboration; to strengthen the municipal response to crime and violence through efficient planning, designing, and financing capacity for urban development and grown; and to enhance research and analysis to improve data-driven violence prevention strategies. Mental Health and Resilience Advisor - USAID Ukraine (Mid-Level)

Support IBTCI recruit for a Technical Advisor-Health Mental Health & Resilience for USAID/Ukraine’s Office of Health will support office management in responding to significant challenges in the rapidly evolving operating environment arising from the Russian invasion of Ukraine. The position will provide technical and strategic guidance, coordination, and program management and monitoring support to USAID/Ukraine in MHPSS, and related areas such as rehabilitation programs.

Ideally, the specialized advisor can be based in Ukraine. But USAID will also consider the possibility of a specialist who could work remotely, with up to 50% travel expected to USAID’s temporary office in Poland or to Kyiv, Ukraine, subject to security conditions and authorization by the Mission. 

USAID Guatemala Program Office - Data Steward Consultant (Short-term)

In Support of IBTCI and USAID Guatemala Office in Washington DC recruit for a short-term (130 days) Data Steward Consultant  to manage and maintain Mission data and data management systems, and work with Mission staff and partners to use tools and templates appropriately and manage data reporting tasks. Knowledge of database management systems is important. The Data Steward will also work with technical teams and partners to train them in best practices and integrate their data with Mission data management systems, so interpersonal skills are also important. They may also support the implementation of tasks and activities to develop in-country Monitoring, Evaluation, and Collaboration, Learning and Adaptation expertise as well.

USAID/Zambia Senior Social and Behavior Change Advisor

Supporting IBTCI and USAID/Zimba recruit a long-term Senior Social and Behavior Change Advisor to work in the Health Office of USAID/Zambia and provide technical leadership for the Health Team’s social and behavior change (SBC) activities, and will
have primary responsibility for supporting the Health Team’s SBC activities across the areas of HIV, malaria, tuberculosis, maternal and child health (MCH), family planning and reproductive health (FP/RH), global health security (GHS) and nutrition. The Senior SBC Advisor (the Senior Advisor) will also provide technical direction for USAID/Zambia’s SBC efforts involving PEPFAR, and PMI, as well as maternal and child survival, TB, and family planning/ reproductive health efforts.

State Department Technical Proposal Writers

Support IBTCI in the recruitment of short-term consultant(s) to provide proposal writing and technical/departmental expert review services for anticipated US Department of State (DoS) proposals focused on broad MEL services in support of U.S.-funded security sector assistance activities. The Proposal Writer will draft and review sections of the proposal, offering demonstrated expertise in DOS MEL policies, frameworks, and implementation tools and methodologies, including familiarity with the Evidence Act, the Measuring for Results framework, and so forth. The Proposal Writer will also review IBTCI’s staffing approach and help determine the most important qualifications of project management teams.

This position is based in our Headquarters in Vienna, Virginia but temporarily hybrid. The BD Director will report to our Vice President and will be a full-time regular employee.
